Once I came across this video “Curious Display” by Julia Tsao I instantly felt compelled to share it. Tsao produced the film as part of her graduate thesis at Art Center College of Design. Upon viewing the clip its obviously a commentary about our modern world. The artist had this to say about the project (via website):
“The project explores our relationship with devices and technology by examining the multi-dimensionality of communication and the complexity of social behavior and interaction. In its essence, the project functions as a piece of design fiction, considering the fluctuating nature of our present engagement with media technology and providing futurist imaginings of other ways of being.”
What a great inspirational piece from a creative mind, definitely an artist that will stay on my inspirational radar.
